Questions shops ask
Do I need a card to start?
No. New shops get ₦200 credit to try it. When it runs out, fund your wallet or pick a plan.
How do customers get their receipt?
Send it on WhatsApp in one tap, email it or download the PDF. Every receipt carries a QR code the customer can scan to check it is genuine.
Can my staff have their own logins?
Yes. Invite them by email. They can sell, log stock and use the Registry, but cost prices, suppliers and profit are shown only to you. The activity log shows who did what.
Can I sell to other dealers without a receipt?
Yes. Record a reseller sale from your stock or from a phone you outsourced, and mark it paid or owing.
Can I bring in the stock and sales I already have?
Yes. Fill in our spreadsheet template and import it all at once. Kept records in a book, a PDF or another app? Send them to us from Support and we convert them for you.
How does the free trial work?
Every new shop gets 7 days of Growth free: unlimited receipts and stock, Registry and reseller sales. No card is needed and nothing is charged when it ends. You go back to pay as you go unless you pick a plan.
How do I become a partner?
Message us on WhatsApp. Partners earn 10% of each shop's first plan payment (15% from 20 paying shops), paid to their bank or wallet, and get Growth free in any month they have 10 or more paying shops.
What is the Community?
One space for every shop on gadgetslip. Post what you're looking for or selling, find parts and repairs, and warn each other about stolen phones. If a shop is looking for something you have in stock, you get a private alert.
Can receipts be in another language?
Yes. Pick it in Branding. In Nigeria you can choose Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa as well as English. The receipt, the email and the WhatsApp message all use it.
What happens if I go past my plan's allowance?
Nothing stops. Extra receipts and stock items are simply charged from your wallet at the normal rate.
Does it renew automatically?
Only if you turn on auto-renew with a card. We email you five days and two days before any charge, and you can switch it off at any time.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. gadgetslip runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, and the camera can scan IMEI barcodes.
